After coming to Germany, one of the best culture shocks I had were Bier Gartens. I absolutely love the concept of just casually hanging outside and having a Bretzel. So after having my daughter, of course I started looking for Beer Gardens that would offer her some entertainment as well.

Here’s a list of Beer Gardens I’ve come across that include a play ground:

• Bamberger Haus in Luitpold park
• Hofbräukeller on Wienerplatz in Haidhausen
• Augustiner-Keller beer garden at Hackerbrücke.
• Bier garden at the Chinesischer Turm in the Englischer Garten.
• Königlicher Hirschgarten in the west of Munich.
