Strawberry season is my favourite because it means we get to bike to the outskirts of the city and enjoy the day in nature surrounded by delicious berries 😍

This time we tried the Beeren Cafe at Feldmoching and absolutely loved it! What really stood out is their wonderful cafe. Previously we had always gone to strawberry fields and just love the act of being able to pick our own fruit but it was really nice to be able to chill at the Feldmoching cafe afterwards and enjoy some of their good food. Our toddler also absolutely fell in love with the play area there and definitely didn’t want to say goodbye at closing time 😅

How to get there:

Address: Feldmochinger Str., 80995 München – you can get there very easily with the S-bahn or also bike or drive there. We biked there and really enjoyed the path along the Feldmochinger See

Opening timings and fees:

The Beerencafe at Feldmoching is open everyday from 10:00 am to 7 pm. View their website here to see their fees. You also get free entrance to the cafe if you pay for the strawberry picking.

Tips for having a great trip:

• Timing: Remember to give yourself enough time to enjoy the activity plus to relax at the cafe.
• What to Bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring containers for your strawberries. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat for sun protection. Also, keep spare clothes for kids since the cafe has a water play area.
• Payment: Remember to carry cash!
