The UEFA EURO 2024 is set to captivate football fans worldwide, and Munich is preparing to be at the heart of the action!

Munich is offering an array of public viewing spots that promise an unforgettable experience. In this list we’ve tried to put together a list of places where you can enjoy the live action! Keeping families in mind, we’ve tried to specifically highlight outdoor/open areas. At most of these places you will of course need to buy food/drinks but entrance is free.

1. Olympia Fan Zone

Spanning from the Olympia lake to the Olympia berg, there are various screens all over Olympia for fans to enjoy the matches!

Olympia offers much more than public viewings of the matches, they will also be offering other entertainment like live music, comedy shows, poetry and street dance competitions etc.

2. Gans Woanders

Gans Woanders will be showing matches from the European Championship where Germany is participating. Along with the semi-final and final matches.

There will of course also be snacks and drinks available to be bought.

3. Backstage

Backstage will be showing ALL European Championship matches! They have multiple screens – some of which are outdoor (some areas are covered and some uncovered) and some are indoors.

For some the screens, reservations can be made. You can view all their available viewing areas here.

4. Seehaus English Garden

Seehaus English Garden is also joining fellow beer gardens in showing the European Championship matches! Pleas keep in mind that the viewings will only happen in dry weather (in case of rain they will be cancelled)

No reservation can be made for the beer garden.

5. Hofbraeukeller

Another beer garden where you can watch the European Championship is Hofbraeukeller. The viewing will be outside in the beer garden due to which no reservation is possible.

Please keep in mind, the viewing will only take place in good weather and matches will be shown that are aired on public television.

6. Park Cafe

At Park cafe, they will also be showing matches from the European Championship where Germany is participating.

You can visit their website to book your table in advance. Keep in mind that for the booking of a table for the matches, they do require minimum consumption of 25 euros per person.

However, no reservation is possible for the garden seating.

7. Sugar Mountain

At Sugar Mountain, all matches with German, Croatian and Serbian national teams will be shown. When the weather is nice, the viewing will be outside in the beer garden, but in case of rain, the viewing will be shifted to the large hall inside.

8. Paulaner Am Nockherberg

Experience Euro 2024 in the beer garden of the Paulaner am Nockherberg on two large LED screens. For this beer garden, you can also make reservations or make use of the “first come, first serve” model.

10. 35 millimeter

Enjoy the 2024 European Championship at 35 millimeter where all the games are shown in their indoor area as well as in the city garden. There are a total of 3 indoor areas and an outdoor garden area with 24 screens and 2 large screens.

At MuffatWerk, the German national team’s preliminary round European Championship matches will be shown on large screens throughout the Muffatwerk.
