Hidden away in Sendling, this spot feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different city with its graffiti-covered walls, old U-Bahn trains and buses turned into creative spaces, and a buzzing cultural scene. It’s raw, colorful, and full of surprises, making it a fun place to explore as a family.

We went on a sunny weekend afternoon and just walking around, checking out the cute little cafe’s and of course, the art.

We found Bahnwärter Thiel quite kid-friendly, especially during the day. There’s so much for little ones to look at — the trains, buses, and art.
