1. Cafe Gluckskind
The OG kid-friendly cafe in Munich! This is the cafe that was recommended to us the most once we had our little one and rightly so! Not only do they have delicious treats for parents and kids but also have a little play area for kids to enjoy.

2. Zuckertag Cafe
For families with children aged 0-6, cafe Zuckertag offers a space for families to reconnect, relax and enjoy a fun day out. The cafe has a wooden house and slide, a colorful ball pit, fast Bobby Cars, a children’s kitchen, lots of Lego, trains, dolls and many other great toys!
For the adults, heavenly cakes, delicious waffles with apple sauce, sandwiches, tasty breakfast and lunch options await.
The children’s café at Ehrengutstrasse 10 is open for one whole day every month from 9:00 a.m. to 17:00. Open days for the next few months are:

3. Naschkafee
A family-friendly cafe and ice cream shop that has a designated little play area with various toys to entertain your little one!
They also have the most unique offer for parents that we’ve seen: onsite massages! You can book an appointment between the time slots of 8.30 to 14:00 and enjoy a relaxing massage from a trained professional while your little one enjoys some playtime.

4. Gans am Wasser
When the weather is nice, Gans am Wasser is a great place to go to as a family. Can’t go wrong with the location as it’s right in the middle of Westpark – Some of the things we love: a playground close by, delicious snacks, live music (mostly on the weekends), outdoor set up. They also often have kid-friendly events!
🧸 There’s no designated play area but there’s a playground close by + all the seating is outdoors – similar to a beer garden.

5. Cat Cafe
Calling all cat lovers 😻 This is the perfect place to help you foster love of animals in your little ones! Pair these fuzzy friends with some delicious cake and coffee and what better way to spend an afternoon.
Tip: They are always quite full so we recommend making a reservation.

6. Mamas Kindercafe
A cafe in Solln that is every child’s dream come true! They welcome kids aged between 0-5. And it’s not just any ordinary cafe, they even offer courses for kids and can be booked for birthdays!
Some of the courses they offer include: gymnastics courses on Tuesday for 3-6 year olds, family dance for 1-3 year olds and more! Contact them on instagram to find out more.

7. Cafe Pfefferminza
So imagine a cafe that has good food, nice service and both indoor and outdoor seating with dedicated play areas – this is all that Cafe Pfefferminza offers and more! If you’re interested in going there with a couple of your parent friends, then makes sense to make a reservation here.
You can also book them for your kids next birthday party! They even offer a birthday package with a baking course for the kids (aged 6 and above) – check out their offers here

8. Coalou
A cozy cafe dedicated to be a space that both parents and kids will love. They do however have limited spaces – they can host up to 10 kids at a time . They also realise that some people might have dietary restrictions and therefore also allow you to bring your own food if you want to!

9. Seebauer Cafe
If you’re a plant lover, here’s your opportunity to go shopping for plants while you know your child is having fun and enjoying their time with other kids! And of course later on you can enjoy some family time in their kid-friendly cafe where they have delicious food, fun toys, a slide and even a small ball pit!

10. Cafe Lotti
If you’re looking for a very aesthetic cafe to enjoy some family time or perhaps a breakfast or lunch date with your little one – then Cafe Lotti is a wonderful choice!
This is the place to go if you want to actually sit down with your little one and hear all about their adventures of the day or just spend some chill time as a family. Definitely one of the cafe’s in Munich that we really like!
🧸 No designated play area but are family friendly with baby chairs, friendly staff and a changing table in the bathroom. Also fur-babies are welcome too!

11. Gans Woanders
When the weather is warm, outdoor cafe’s and beer gartens are the way to go! We love Gans Woanders because of it’s Beergarten-esque chill vibe. There’s also constantly something going on – whether it’s live music, stand up comedy, face painting or a puppet show for kids.
🧸 No designated play area but they have more of a beer garten vibe with their ourdoor seating.
